Farewell To Actor Christopher Lee



After a long and storied acting career, Christopher Lee has passed away at the age of 93. According to sources close to his family, the actor died at a London Hospital. He was there undergoing treatment for both respiratory problems and heart failure at the time.

Lee got his break playing Dracula in the 1958 horror movie of the same name. He would continue to play Dracula in throughout the next decade.

Horror was definitely Lee’s forte at the start of his career, and he continued scoring hits through the 1960s and 1970s. Another notable movie he started in was 1973’s “The Wicker Man.”

He is also known for playing a Bond villain in the 1974 classic “The Man with the Golden Gun.”

Of course, younger generations are more familiar with Lee for his role in the “Lord of the Rings” as the dark wizard Saruman.
