George R.R. Martin Is Really Mad About “The Interview”

George R.R. Martin seems to be a pretty chill dude all around. But this whole scandal involving Sony Pictures and the fact that it has bowed to pressure and won’t be releasing “The Interview” has really gotten to him.

That’s why Martin has decided to screen the movie himself. He has his own movie theater in Santa Fe, and he is going to invite people to watch the movie there. Martin is active on his LiveJournal page, and he made a post entitled “Corporate Cowardice” that took aim at Sony. Sony were not the only people who were getting lambasted by Martin, he also talked about the major theater companies that bailed out of showing the movie.

He added that Sony could have simply offered the movie up to smaller, independent movie theaters, who are all interesting in showing the controversial new movie.

“ The level of corporate cowardice here astonishes me. It’s a good thing these guys weren’t around when Charlie Chaplin made THE GREAT DICTATOR. If Kim Jong-Un scares them, Adolf Hitler would have had them sh*****g in their smallclothes,” Martin wrote.
