Harrison Ford Offered To Reprise Blade Runner

Actor Harrison Ford was recently offered to reprise his role in a sequel to his famous 1982 movie Blade Runner.

In the cult sci-fi movie, the actor portrayed Rick Deckard, a retired police officer who tracks down and kills replicants, who have stolen a spaceship and then returned to Earth in order to find their creator.

Director of the first movie, Ridley Scott, is also on board to film the sequel.

Producers Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson are also hoping Harrison would get the role.

A statement from them reads, “We believe that (original scribe) Hampton Fancher and (screenwriter) Michael Green have crafted with Ridley Scott an extraordinary sequel to one of the greatest films of all time. We would be honored, and we are hopeful, that Harrison will be part of our project.

The sequel will be written by Blade Runner’s original creator Hampton Fancher, with Michael Green, the screenwriter of the not-that-great received Green Lantern movie from 2011.

We believe that Hampton Fancher and Michael Green have crafted with Ridley Scott an extraordinary sequel to one of the greatest films of all time,” said producers Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove in their joint statement.

We would be honoured, and we are hopeful, that Harrison will be part of our project.”
