Lindsay Lohan Makes A Prank Call To Oprah

David Letterman agreed to Lindsay Lohan’s suggestion to prank Oprah Winfrey. On Wednesday night’s “The Late Show with David Letterman,” the legendary host and the troubled actress, pulled a prank on Lindsey’s recent employer.

Lohan went on Letterman’s show to talk about her new reality series “Lindsay”, which follows events in her life. Since the show is produced by Harpo, owned by Oprah Winfrey, Lohan got the idea to make a prank call to her benefactor.

The Mean Girls star said to Letterman: “I think maybe I should just call her right now. Should we call Oprah? I think so. Do you have a phone? Have we got a phone?”

Lohan also encouraged the audience to chant “Op-rah! Op-rah! Op-rah!”, which made Letterman to give in and call Winfrey using a phony voice. “Yes, could I speak to Oprah Winfrey, please? …Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan’s secretary.”

After Winfrey had asked the caller, “Who is this?”, Letterman gave himself away and confessed, “It’s Dave, Oprah. It’s Dave.”

Letterman then asked the TV mogul, and the star of the recent hit The Butler how she felt Lohan was doing on her court-ordered rehab, and what her thoughts are on the reality show Lohan was filming. The show is produced by and aired by Winfrey’s network.

Oprah had only words of praise, “I think she’s doing OK… I think she’s doing really OK. I think to have cameras following you around for every phase of your life and you’re trying to pull your life together, I think that’s a really difficult thing.”

“We’re really pleased that she’s making some progress.”

Lohan smiled as tears of joy streamed down her face.
