More Mad Max Films On The Way

It’s no surprise that the studio is already thinking about doing a “Mad Max: Fury Road” sequel. The movie made a ton of money, grossing more than $400 million worldwide, and fans and critics had nothing but praise for the movie.

But fans are probably going to have to wait for a while. Director George Miller said that filming in the desert is an incredibly taxing process, especially with a movie this elaborate. They spend eight months on filming alone.

He says that he want to make some low budget, special-effects-less movies first before he starts thinking about the return of Mad Max.

Miller also mentioned that there are two new scripts but did not mention what they are – sequels, prequels, reimaginations, or what?

Judging by his comments, it could be three or four years before we see the next Mad Max movie, but it’s probably going to be worth the wait.
