Star Wars VII Cast Revealed



The director of the newest movie in the franchise, J. J. Abrams, revealed who the members of the new cast will be. The cast which will certainly include the old members has been announced on Tuesday on the official “Star Wars” website.

J. J. Abrams, announced these actors would star in the newest feature, “Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film,” an official statement read.

The director has been very keen on keeping the cast member details as well as the plans for the Death Star in secret. Abrams couldn’t keep up to the pressure of the press, as the upcoming movie raised a lot of interest. The press was following his every move, so every time he would make an appointment for the stars of the movie, it would leak in the papers, even the simplest of the meetings.

The new movie features the stars that the audience already knows from the original trilogy, such as Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. Also, the legendary Peter Mayhew will appear again as Chewbacca. The movie will appear on the big screen on December 18, 2015.

We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII,” Abrams said in a statement. “It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud.”
