The 88th Annual Academy Awards nominees were presented by Guillermo del Toro, Ang Lee, John Krasinski, as well as Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs on Thursday morning, kicking off the final sprint to the finish line for this year’s biggest recognitions in the movie industry. However, it’s sad to say that we have a case of the “White Oscars” on our hands once again – not a single person of color was nominated for acting.

“The Revenant” and “Mad Max: Fury Road” received most praise, picking up Oscar nominations for best picture and best director. Joining them in the category are “Bridge of Spies,” “Spotlight,” “The Martian,” “The Big Short,” “Room” and “Brooklyn.” Sadly, “Straight Outta Compton” and “Carol” were overlooked.

Innaritu’s “The Revenant” scored 12 nominations in total, which is the most of any film this year. DiCaprio was honored for his wounded frontiersman role, as well as Tom Hardy for his. Closely behind is George Miller’s “Mad Max: Fury Road” while “The Martian” came in at third place with seven nominations, followed by “Spotlight” with six. Here’s a list of all the nominees:
