Three Dead in Trainwreck Screening Shooting



A screening of Amy Schumer’s new comedy “Trainwreck” in Louisiana came to a tragic halt when a gunman stood up in the theater and started shooting at moviegoers. According to the latest information, three people were killed and nine were injured.

The screening was taking place at The Grand Theatre in Lafayette, Louisiana. According to sources, the gunman, a 58-year-old man, stood up about 20 minutes into the showing of the movie and started firing at audience members with a handgun.

After shooting at moviegoers, the gunman ended up taking his own life.

Schumer has already sent out a message regarding the tragic event, saying that “her heart is broken” and that all of her thoughts and prayers are with the people of Louisiana.

The police arrived at the scene about a minute after the man started shooting, which is when he turned the gun on himself.
