Winona Ryder Confirms Beetlejuice Sequel Is Happening

We have been getting teased the by proposition of a sequel to the cult classic Beetlejuice movie for some time now. First, director Tim Burton talked about it briefly on camera while doing some press for his movie Big Eyes.

At that time, he said that he would definitely be doing a sequel for the fan-favorite 1988 movie, and he added that Winona Ryder would be in the movie for sure.

And then Beetlejuice himself, Michael Keaton, said that there was definitely going to be a sequel.

But now we have a third confirmation. You know how in the movie someone had to say “Beetlejuice” three times to make him appear? Well that’s exactly what happened.

Ryder appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers and said that it’s going to happen. Now all we can do is wait. As far as we know, a great majority of the cast from the original movie has already signed on for the sequel.
